Hey all you beautiful people! As always I must thank each and everyone of you who are actively using WantToGoOut.com. With out you this site would not exist!
Because you are all so awesome I have been working very hard at presenting some awesome changes for WantToGoOut.com. It seems like we are about two weeks out from these changes actually coming to life online.
WantToGoOut.com is not a fake site. WantToGoOut.com has been created for you. Our dating site allows you to find your own match. Who but you knows who you are looking for? We do not use some ridiculous computer program to invent for you "calculated" matches. As the old saying goes, "Opposites Attract", we would never leave your potential love up to some insensitive automated program.
I will keep you up to date with our changes.

As of June 3, 2008 we are back online again. Yesterday I had sent out the following email, and sadly around 4am eastern time the data center's back up generators crashed. Since this has happened, I have instructed my hosting company to move my server to a location that is a few miles down the road from this current location. There should no longer be any down time.

Yes, the subject of this email sounds dramatic, but it is true. Some of you may have noticed that WantToGoOut.com was out of service since saturday night... YIKES!!!!! Not only were we out of commission but thousands of other sites were also out of commission.
You see, the computers that store WantToGoOut.com's files happen to be situated in Texas. The other night a lightning bolt hit close by this building, it ended up blowing up a power transformer. This explosion was so strong that Three walls in this facility fell down, actually, three of the walls that were in the room where my server sits. Then because of this a bunch of websites were gone. (thousands of sites)
Still as of this moment the power is still out at this facility but they are running our servers on generators.
Just in case you were wondering, I am INCREDIBLY happy to be back online. This was a freak accident, and a lot of us have learned valuable lessons for the future so this should not happen again. However we all know none of us have power over mother nature.

Hello. It has been a while since I posted anything here. As of today we have 3,440 members using WantToGoOut.com. You see we are not a fake site. We do not post profiles of fake people to tease other people to join. We do not spam you, and we do not spam people who have not found this site on their own. As an owner of this site, i definitely look around at other sites to see what is going on. I wont name the site, but just the other day i joined another site, since joining this site i have been put on a singles mailing list. I am getting email after email for one site after another. I assure you that when you join WantToGoOut.com, you will only get emails from us, no one else. It is not my fault if you joined other sites and they sold your name and email address. But here that will NEVER happen. I am human just as you. I put this site up to be a legitimate site for people to find friends and lovers, and to have things to go out and do. Still to this day i delete every single spammer and phisher who joins my site. If you want to belong to an honest singles personals site, especially a site you wouldnt be embarrassed to tell other people you belong to it, then you should belong to WantToGoOut.com

Hello to you. As always I need to thank all of you who are using WantToGoOut.com. Before I go on, last week I was contacted by the grammar patrol and I was warned that my grammar sucks, all I can say is sorry!
As I always repeat myself, our site was just launched this past August. New members join our site every single day. So you have joined a free site, easily you could have joined a site where the owner is invisible, and next thing you realize is your inbox is being filled up with a ton of annoying spam mail, and then from that site itself you are being contacted by strange people who have false reasons for using such a site. Not here, never here! We do not share your name, email address, or any other info with anyone. I closely watch the membership on WantToGoOut and I delete anyone who comes off to me as if they have ill intentions. You might be wondering who is this that is writing this email? My name is Jon. WantToGoOut.com is my website, and it is me who decided to offer membership for free. This wasn't an easy decision, I am by far not a rich man. Then as I came to this decision to offer this site for free, everyone I know must have said to me a million times, "Why wouldnt you charge for people to use your site". Anyway, I have been obsessed with the internet since I was twelve years old. I remember the first PC I got, I was so amazed by it. I remember just staring at this one screen saver, you know the black and white one with the flying stars, for hours I would get caught in a trance caught up in amazement how these stars were flying towards me, lol. I remember I would stay home from school just to sit in AOL chat rooms all day long. I actually met my first girlfriend on the original AOL. The odd thing about meeting her was that she was a neighbor of mine, and we did not know each other before meeting online. I went to public school, and she had been going to a private school. Obviously this relationship did not last because I am single, but truth is any relationship I have ever been in came from an internet website. To this day some of my best friends I have met because of the existence of the internet (MT). I remember those early days when I was getting online with a 14.4k modem, and I was excited when I saw it connect at over 9k, my have things changed since then. Today with DSL, cable modems, and even fiber optics, we have super fast speeds, how exciting. As of this day and moving forward WantToGoOut.com is a dating site that will never charge it's members. WantToGoOut members will never have to dish out even a penny to use all of our features. We are excited for the future, we will be implementing many different upgrades and features for WantToGoOut.com to fit in to the future and some day WantToGoOut.com will be a branded name with true meaning to its name WantToGoOut.com.
Not such an exciting update but something we are implementing this week or next week will be larger photo's. Right now when you browse profiles and you look at photo's you can only see the small adjusted image. We are installing an upgrade so you can click on a members photo and see a much larger view of the photo.

If anyone is into graphic design and if you want to donate a banner that you created for our site, please send the banner to me and I will upload it if it is appropriate.

Some people might already know that WantToGoOut.com was just launched this past August. Why are we different you ask? We delete all of those annoying spammers and phishers that exist on every other site. You are important to us and we need your help to assist us in growing our site. WantToGoOut.com is always going to be a free online dating community. WantToGoOut.com will always be spam and phish free! As of Feb. 15, 2008 we have about 2000 active members enjoying the features on WantToGoOut.com. You can use our Chat rooms for free, you can upload your photo's, you can use our forum, you can message other members that belong to WantToGoOut.com ALL FOR FREE!!! You can even upload video!!! If you are seeking love online then one day you will use WantToGoOut.com because we are free and because we are spam free. Even the pay sites have spammers, why use the pay sites when there are so many free sites?
The other day i was listening to the radio and i heard a commercial for eharmony. In this commercial Dr. Oldfarts says something along the lines that Eharmony for the upcoming weekend was going to be free for members to communicate with one another. I remember years ago i signed up to eharmony and i was rejected and not allowed to be a member after filling out what seemed like 40 minutes worth of questions. My point here is WantToGoOut.com is not free for just the weekend, or for four days. WantToGoOut.com is free 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every single day all year long.
As the days go by WantToGoOut.com is adding more features and we are taking your suggestions to make this the best site for those seeking love online.
